#12DaysOfBabyGuy: The Sequel. DAY THREE.

Day three.  Hmmmm, where to begin……Meeting the expectations of the previous two giveaways is a pretty tall order, and luckily we’ve a few companies up to the task.

I have no qualms about saying that there are lots of high chairs I love, but my PERSONAL favorite high chair on the market is the Stokke Tripp Trapp.  Designed to sit at standard table height and bring your wee one into family interaction at dinner, the Tripp Trapp just celebrated its 40th Anniversary.  It will not work for every family, but it’s a brilliantly-designed chair that allows the unprecedented lifespan of 6 months-300 pounds.  Yes, you heard that correctly.  The Tripp Trapp is a fully-adjustable seat that allows for not only ergonomically correct seating due to the adjustable foot rest BUT an adult can use it.  In fact, I actually use the Tripp Trapp at my desk.  No.  Lie.  I sit in it every single day (when  I am actually IN NYC), and it’s always fun explaining to friends that I am sitting in a high chair.  It is definitely one piece of baby gear that I believe is fully worth every single penny you will spend on it.  Except you will not spend a dime on it if you win it today.  And you will get it FULLY-LOADED with the Baby Set and Cushion.  The Stokke Tripp Trapp varies in price depending upon color, cushion, and other accessories, but this prize is estimated at around $340.  It’s available at Magic Beans.

Your baby has a great place to sit at the table, why not have a great place to sit on YOU?  The MyCarrier is Stokke’s entry into the babywearing arena.  Like many soft-structured carriers on the market, the MyCarrier distributes the weight of the child onto the wearer’s hips for a more comfortable experience, and it allows for a carry on the front or the back–it even allows for a forward-facing option as well (for those of you “worried” about this feature, it’s actually quite supportive under the child’s thighs in this position.  if i didn’t think it was good, it wouldn’t be here).  What is really cool about the MyCarrier is that is allows you to “load” the kid into the carrier while using the back carry position BEFORE you put the carrier on.  This means you simply put the kid on your back almost like you’re wearing a human backpack and it eliminates the “back-wearing-shuffle” many people find awkward or impossible.    Add organic textiles and double-locking carabiners (which means NOTHING is coming unbuckled) into the mix, and you’ve got a great carrier. The Stokke My Carrier retails for $249.99.

A seat at the table.  A seat on you.  What about a seat on wheels?  The Stokke Xplory is, without a doubt, one of the most eye-catching strollers you’ll ever see.  With its innovative design, the seat of the Xplory sits higher than any stroller on the market, allowing for more parent/child interaction (it’s also height-adjustable if you want it lower).  If you watch their videos you’ll also see it’s great for trips to museums, the zoo, aquariums, and anywhere else a child might need to see over a rail or barrier.  The reversible seat is one of the best on the market as well and it gives you a terrific adjustable foot rest and multiple recline positions.  The quality of the materials used in the Xplory are really, REALLY hard to beat—and everyone I know will always attest to the quality of Stokke’s textiles.  The canopy is brilliant and has ventilation, and the seat has an infant insert to accommodate wee babes.  But you’re not just getting a seat.  Nope.  You’ll also get the carrycot, which means you’re gonna be able to use this stroller from day one—and you’ll get to pick your own color out.  How do you like THEM apples??  The Stokke Xplory Newborn retails for around $1,100.  Boo yah.  It’s available at Magic Beans.

So, you’ve won a stroller.  What about the mess that happens in a stroller seat?  Well, if you’ve been around since Day One you MIGHT remember the BuggyLOVE Stroller Cleaning Kit.  Well, the kids over at BuggyLOVE and I have decided to give you one of those as well.  Featuring a 100% natural way to clean your stroller, it includes fabric refresher, stain remover, frame polish, wheel lubricant, a microfiber cloth, and a great brush to get to scrubbing with.  And it all smells RIDICULOUSLY great.  You’ll love it.  The BuggyLOVE Organic Stroller Cleaning Kit retails for $49.99.

You’ve probably wondered what Melissa & Doug have to do with this giveaway.  I’ll tell you.  I’ve been a longtime fan of the brand.  Last year I did a segment on the Today Show about Cyber Monday Deals where I featured a lot of M&D products.  I had a great chat with a few peeps over there, and last year I gave away one of their GIANT stuffed giraffes in my #12DaysOfBabyGuy contest.  In February of this year I went to New Zealand for work, and when I arrived back in NYC there was a Melissa & Doug giraffe in the middle of my apartment.  All 57 inches of her.  She has been seen in a few of my review videos and she still sits by my desk, wearing her Titanic 3D glasses.  I LOVE HER…..AND YOU WILL AS WELL.  That’s right.  A giraffe is tall, and I thought it made sense with today’s theme.  The Melissa & Doug Giant Giraffe retails for $99.99.

So, you’ve got a pretty decent little package of products here:  a high chair, a baby carrier, a stroller, a stroller cleaning kit, and a giraffe.  WHO COULD SAY “NO”?!?!?!  This package is worth over $1,800.  Get to it.

And as with all my contests:  If you win and don’t need or want any of the prizes, please consider donating to a charity or shelter.
