Day 10 of #12DaysOfBabyGuy
Hark! The Herald Angels sing. Something cute for food blending….
This is a new product to keep your eye on. I was introduced to Sage Spoonfuls and it’s creator, Liza Huber, when I recently spoke at the Big City Moms Biggest Baby Shower event. I’ll be honest: there are a LOT of baby food maker/storage systems on the market, so I wasn’t exactly thrilled about seeing another one. I am so very glad I gave it a looksie. There are a few things that REALLY set this line apart. In terms of the actual blender, it’s a food processor coupled with an immersion blender. I’ve tried to use other baby food blenders to make a proper cocktail and it just doesn’t work. Happily, you can use an immersion blender long after you’re making baby food. You’ve gotta multi-purpose, folks! Unlike other storage containers that are basically glorified ice cube trays, Sage Spoonfuls uses individual 4 oz containers. This means you can grab 1 or 2 and go, which is great for being out all day, or for traveling. The kit itself is also cute, so you won’t be embarrassed about having this out on your counter. In fact, you should be proud. Making baby food isn’t hard, and Sage Spoonfuls is a great kit to make it a bit easier for you. The products are also BPA, Phthalate, and Lead free.
